CORAL NEW PANTONE COLOUR 2019

PANTONE Colour 2019 : LIVING CORAL

The Pantone colour experts have spoken and have announced 2019’s colour which is the lively and bright Living Coral. The Ultra Violet colour for 2018 is still seen in many designs today, however I think we are all super excited  and looking forward to seeing the upcoming designs in both fashion and Interior Design with the 2019 Living Coral. We created the above mood board to show you our take on the Living Coral… and YES, it is very 70s chic!

“With more choices than ever before, it is essential for home furnishings and interiors brands and designers to connect with their consumers and deliver the themes, palettes and colours that engage and stimulate beyond the surface,” says Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute.

Coral is actually a great colour that bends in with different palettes even just using similar tones like light pink and burgundy (and with a touch of mustard is just wow!).

Coral’s vibrant hue can make some people nervous about what it can pair with. When you hear of the colour you might think of the ocean? We say if you don’t want anything too bold then blend it in with it’s natural elements like wood, plants, rattan, stone, and marble.
